Paulo Novais elected President of APPIA
Paulo Novais, Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Informatics, in the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal) and a researcher at the ALGORITMI Centre was elected President of APPIA.
The ceremony took place on Thursday, September 10, during the 17th Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence ( EPIA ), held at the University of Coimbra between 8 and 11 of September.
EPIA is the main International Conference of Artificial Intelligence in Portugal, supported by Portuguese Artificial Intelligence Association (APPIA). The purpose of the conference is to promote research in AI and scientific exchange among AI researchers, practitioners, scientists, and engineers in related disciplines.
